Consultation
As a fully qualified personal trainer I will take the responsibility, alongside you, to make sure that your goals are met. To do this we need to establish exactly what you want to achieve, and then find the best direction in which to get there. I will complete a full lifestyle assessment for you, along with the appropriate fitness tests. An individual, structured, easy to follow plan will then be design for you, that will have you looking and feeling your best in no time.
One to One Training
Only when we have been through a consultation together can we move onto the next step of the process, and get you moving in the right direction. Often people are not familiar with training and techniques but with my guidance we will target the right muscle groups, to optimise changes in shape, structure or strength.
With my help your hard work will not go to waste. I will be there to motivate, support and educate you on healthier lifestyle choices, as well as giving that extra push needed to achieve the results.
Nutrition Advice
Nutrition is key to guaranteeing the success of the results you will achieve from physical training sessions. Both exercise and a good quality diet go hand in hand on the path to a healthy lifestyle . . . one does not work without the other.
In the consultation, we discuss your present diet and whether there is a need to change it. You will then receive food diary sheets so you can log everything you eat and drink for a week. These will be analysed and discussed further in a non-sweat session to decide how we can improve the quality of your diet to assist your on-going training.
Fitness Boxing
The attractiveness of fitness boxing is that participants get a calorie burning cardiovascular and resistance workout while learning valuable self-defence skills.
These sessions involve wearing boxing gloves while punching heavy bags and focus pads. The combination of the extra weight of the gloves and the impact on the pads, provides resistance whilst improving boxing technique. More importantly, this reduces the likelihood of hyperextension at the elbows and shoulders by providing a target for impact.
Fitness boxing is a dynamic way to build self confidence, agility, coordination, stamina and mental focus rather than just moving to choreographed non-authentic combinations to the best of aerobic music.
